Who Should Get A Biomechanical Bike Fit?

The Bike Fit is for riders looking to improve bicycle ergonomics for decreased common ergonomic pains in the neck, back, saddle, and knees. Bike Fit can improve performance for road cyclists, mountain bikers, and triathletes.

What Should I Expect During A Biomechanical Bike Fit?

Bike Fit sessions are typically 60 minutes and include:

  • Consideration of injury history and orthopedic status
  • General posture, range of motion, flexibility, strength, and balance assessment
  • Visual assessment & video analysis of position, pedaling mechanics, and form to improve pedaling efficiency and power
  • Bicycle adjustments using existing parts & equipment
  • Education & recommendations for posture, form, and corrective exercises to prevent and manage common cycling overuse injuries

When Are Biomechanical Bike Fit Appointments Offered?

Bike Fitting is offered Monday - Friday 11:00AM-2:30PM by appointment.

Appointments outside of these hours can often be accommodated with advanced request.

Where Are Biomechanical Bike Fit Appointments Held?

Bike Fit appointments are held in our Elevate Mammoth location (121 College Parkway, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546) in the gym of the South Gateway Apartment building.

How Much Does A Biomechanical Bike Fit Appointment Cost?

Bike Fit: $150

What Are The Requirements Of Or Limitations To Participation In A Biomechanical Bike Fit Appointment?

Participants younger than 18 years of age are required to have parental consent. Please bring your bike and riding shoes to the appointment, and wear or bring comfortable clothes for riding. Mammoth Hospital is not responsible for any mechanical malfunctions that may occur following your bike fit.

What Is The Cancellation Policy For A Biomechanical Bike Fit Appointment?

Notify us of plan changes early! Cancellations with less than 24-hour notification are subject to charge.
