Build Stability. Finish Restored.

Core & Restore incorporates positions and activities inspired by yoga and Pilates to develop postural stability, control, mobility, and body awareness.

The class emphasizes alignment and breathing mechanics, with progressive options that challenge motor control while maintaining a thoughtful, controlled pace.

Mobility and relaxation are woven throughout the session so participants can leave feeling more grounded, mobile, and restored.

Core & Restore FAQs

Is Core & Restore a yoga or Pilates class?

Core & Restore draws inspiration from both yoga and Pilates, but it is its own fitness class. It combines core stability, postural control, mobility, breathing, and restorative movement.

Do I need to be able to get on the floor?

Yes. Participants should be able to access the floor independently or with minimal use of props for safe participation.

Can exercises be modified?

Many movements can be modified or progressed based on range of motion, position, resistance, or complexity. Not every movement can be adapted for every individual need.

Can I attend if I am pregnant or postpartum?

Core & Restore may be appropriate for some prenatal or postpartum participants. Participation should be based on your individual needs, stage, and any guidance or restrictions from your healthcare professional.

Can I attend if I am recovering from surgery or injury?

That depends on your individual situation. Core & Restore is a group wellness class and is not a substitute for individualized physical therapy or rehabilitation.

If you have a recent injury, surgery, activity restrictions, or are currently in rehabilitation, follow the guidance of your healthcare professional and contact Elevate with questions.
