Build Strength for Everyday Life

Strong & Steady is a group fitness class focused on postural awareness, resistance training, balance, functional mobility, and coordination.

The class is open to adults of different ages and may be especially relevant for people interested in healthy aging or re-establishing a regular exercise routine.

Participation & Safety

For safe participation, participants should generally be able to stand without physical assistance for approximately 30 minutes without increased pain or loss of balance.

Exercises can often be modified for different fitness levels, but the class may not be appropriate for individuals who require close supervision, hands-on assistance, or contact guarding because of fall risk.

If you are unsure whether the class is a good fit, please contact Elevate before registering.

What to Expect

Functional Strength

Expect resistance exercises and practical movements that support everyday function.

Balance Challenges

Activities may include weight shifting, direction changes, and coordination tasks that challenge balance.

Progressive Coaching

Exercises may be modified or progressed based on ability, comfort, and class goals.

Group Fitness, Not Individual Therapy

Strong & Steady is a wellness and group exercise class. It is not a substitute for individualized physical therapy, rehabilitation, or medical evaluation.
