Emergencies can happen at home, at work, on the field, or anywhere in the community.
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED provides structured instruction and hands-on practice in the skills a lay responder may need before emergency medical services arrive.
The course is appropriate for community members as well as employees, coaches, teachers, childcare providers, volunteers, and others who may need CPR, AED, and first aid training.
Elevate can provide Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED through either a traditional classroom course or the American Heart Association's blended-learning model.
Both pathways include hands-on skills practice and can result in the same AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card when all course requirements are successfully completed.
Complete the learning and hands-on practice together in an instructor-led classroom setting.
This option may be a good fit for groups that prefer a shared learning experience, live discussion, and instructor guidance throughout the course.
Complete the AHA online learning portion on your own schedule, then attend an instructor-led hands-on skills session through Elevate.
This option offers greater scheduling flexibility while still requiring in-person demonstration of course skills.
Tell us whether you are registering for yourself or coordinating training for a group, and we can help identify the best option.
All instruction and hands-on practice take place with an AHA instructor.
No separate online course is required before the classroom session.
First complete the official AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED online course.
Then bring proof of online completion to your Elevate hands-on skills session.
After successfully completing all requirements, participants receive an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card.
