Diabetes Support Group
Diabetes Support Group is a monthly support group for individuals living with diabetes (type 1, type 2, prediabetes, gestational diabetes) and those supporting them. Discussions will include the impacts of diabetes, lifestyle management techniques, treatment options, and self-care topics such as mental, emotional, and social health.
Heartsaver Skills Session
American Heart Association’s Heartsaver Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Participants of the blended learning track can complete the online didactic lesson prior to enrolling in this hands-on skills session with Elevate to complete certification and receive a CPR card.

Elevate @ DSES's Operation Mountain Freedom
Operation Mountain Freedom is Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra’s (DSES) Winter Military Sports Camp which offers a special opportunity for military participants to experience the exhilaration of adaptive snow sports including alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing in a supportive mountain community. Elevate provides wellness workshops including Qigong & Tai Chi, Mat Mobility, and Nutrition as part of the camp experience.

Weight Management Course is a series of classes intended to educate and support individuals developing healthy weight management routines and skills. Classes are taught by a multidisciplinary team of licensed healthcare professionals from Mammoth Hospital.
Obstacles and setbacks are inevitable. Having a clear picture of your values and goals can help you stay motivated. Learn strategies for dealing with common weight management barriers and develop problem solving skills and backup plans to support your long-term goals. Class topics include:

Safe Sitter Essentials with CPR
Safe Sitter courses are designed to prepare participants in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re babysitting, watching younger siblings, or home alone.
The instructor-led and interactive classes are filled with games, role-playing exercises, hands-on demonstrations, and skills practice using soft-bodied dolls and medical manikins.
Weight Management - Grocery Store Tour
Weight Management Course is a series of classes intended to educate and support individuals developing healthy weight management routines and skills. Classes are taught by a multidisciplinary team of licensed healthcare professionals from Mammoth Hospital.
Gain hands-on experience in how to make healthy food choices in the real world, aisle by aisle. Discuss meal planning and shopping tips, develop a base shopping list, get introduced to new foods, practice reading ingredient lists and nutrition labels, and share brand favorites.
PWR!Moves - Parkinson Wellness Recovery (4 weeks)
Build postural strength, target stiffness and rigidity, improve coordination, and challenge balance in this group exercise class designed specifically for older adults and people with Parkinson’s Disease.
Birth Fit - Postpartum Core Progression & Return to Sport Considerations
Birth Fit is a series of classes made to prepare the body for an active pregnancy, smooth birth, and empowered recovery. Move, stretch, open, and strengthen with pelvic health physical therapist Ariel Zablocki.
Learn exercises you can begin immediately postpartum to facilitate your recovery in the 6th class of the Birth Fit series. Discuss anticipated tissue healing timelines and safe exercise progressions for return to your activities and sports postpartum. Home program provided.

Birth Fit - Baby Strength: Arm, Back, & Neck Strength

This class will help your birth partner be confident in providing comfort techniques that feel great to you. A partner is required for this class. Home program provided.

Intro to Sun-Style Tai Chi 2 (4 weeks)
Embrace body, mind, and spirit with the Chinese martial art of Tai Chi. Build physical and mental stamina, control, coordination, and balance in our introductory Sun-style Tai Chi courses. Courses are based on the Tai Chi for Health Institute’s Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention program which has been shown to be effective in improving balance and decreasing fall risk.
Birth Fit - Making Space: Abdominal Wall Opening
Birth Fit is a series of classes made to prepare the body for an active pregnancy, smooth birth, and empowered recovery. Move, stretch, open, and strengthen with pelvic health physical therapist Ariel Zablocki.

Weight Management Course is a series of classes intended to educate and support individuals developing healthy weight management routines and skills. Classes are taught by a multidisciplinary team of licensed healthcare professionals from Mammoth Hospital.
Learn the major mechanisms and roles of different macronutrients. Identify major sources of carbohydrate, protein, and fat, and recognize proper portion sizes. Learn how to plan a balanced menu of mostly whole foods.
