Perinatal Health Educator

Yesica is the Mammoth Hospital Women’s Health Nurse Navigator. Yesica grew up in the Los Angeles area and was a Labor and Delivery Nurse for 6 years prior to becoming a clinical nurse. She worked for the U.S. Army caring for pregnant active-duty soldiers and spouses at Weed Army Community Hospital in Fort Irwin, and she was a travel nurse with assignments at Pomona Valley Hospital, Northern Inyo Hospital, and Mammoth Hospital. Yesica moved with her son and husband from the Apple Valley region to her husband’s hometown of Lee Vining in 2022 prior to welcoming her daughter into the world. Yesica is currently working on obtaining her lactation consultant certification and hopes to provide a source of lactation support to our community. Yesica also hopes to use her bilingual background to increase women’s health and perinatal support for our Spanish-speaking community. During her leisure time, Yesica enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with family.
