Event Information

  • Join family, friends, neighbors, and care teams for a 2-mile community walk that raises awareness and removes cost barriers to lifesaving screening. Whether you’re walking for yourself, in honor of someone you love, or simply to support local care, your registration directly fuels affordable mammograms for our community.

    • Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025

    • Check-in/Registration: 10:30 AM

    • Walk Start: 11:00 AM

    • Start/Finish: Mammoth Community Recreation Center at Mammoth Creek Park, Mammoth Lakes, CA

    • Distance: 2 miles (community walk)

    • Who: All are welcome. Accessible and family friendly. Strollers and leashed friendly dogs are welcome.

    • Perks: Event T-shirt + finish-line hot cocoa included with registration

    • Beneficiary: Proceeds support Mammoth Hospital Foundation’s affordable mammography program

  • Online registration is available until 5:00pm on Thursday, October 23rd. If you have questions or need assistance with online registration, please email us at elevate@mammothhospital.com.

    On-site registration is available the day-of the event (Saturday, October 25th) from 10:30am-10:50am.

    All participants need to check-in at the on-site registration table to pick up their registration packet and sign liability waivers.

  • The 2-mile, out-and-back route starts and finishes at Mammoth Creek Park. Participants will head East on the multi-use pathway and make their turnaround at the Long Valley Overlook before returning West on the pathway. The course will be marked.

  • Event T-shirts are included with event pre-registration. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received before October 10th. T-shirts will be presented to registered participants on the event date.

  • This is a rain-or-shine event. In case of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we may delay or modify the route for safety.
