Diabetes Support

Diabetes Support Group is a monthly support group for individuals living with diabetes (type 1, type 2, prediabetes, gestational diabetes) and those supporting them. Discussions will include the impacts of diabetes, lifestyle management techniques, treatment options, and self-care topics such as mental, emotional, and social health.

Group is led by Mammoth Hospital Family Medicine nurse supervisor Tassi Kenney whose passion for diabetes education and support stems from her own experience living with type 1 diabetes.

This free group typically meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at noon.  Individuals may participate as much as they are comfortable or just be present if that suits them.  Meeting times and topics will be discussed and confirmed by participants for the following sessions.
